This training offers a comprehensive overview of suicide prevention tailored to college mental health contexts. Participants will explore the prevalence of suicidal behavior among U.S. college students, while learning to identify key risk factors and warning signs. The presentation will introduce both evidence-based tools for assessing and treating suicide and newer frameworks, including emerging diagnoses such as Suicide Crisis Syndrome, to enhance clinical understanding of acute suicidal states.
